What a wonderful way to start 2016! Traveling to one of my favorites places in the world, Palm Beach, we spent our day celebrating the new year and the start of the polo season at the International Polo Club. We watched the match, stomped the divots, and even sipped some delicious champagne.

I especially loved the view from IPC’s Lilly Pulitzer Patio, fitting as I wore my shift dress from the designer’s  2015 collection for the occasion. I’m telling you, a day at the International Polo club is NOT to be missed.

If you go: make sure you spring for the Sunday brunch. I mean it! I know, it’s not cheap ($100 a person), but this is A-list all the way.

The afternoon started with a classic car show featuring everything from vintage Jaguars to one-of-a-kind rare McLarens. The brunch officially began at 2PM, and the spread was fit for royalty. Sponsored by Lilly Pulitzer and Veuve Clicquot (among others), the brunch featured everything from eggs Benedict to prime rib. It was endless, and rounded out with gelato and miniature desserts. Each ticket also came with two cocktail tickets and a voucher for champagne.

Everyone came to have a good time, and the party lasted well until after the match ended. During the halftime divot stomp, when the party moved to the field, and we even witnessed a proposal! By the way, Coca-Cola’s polo team narrowly won the cup.

In all, totally worth it–and something that should be on everyone’s list if they’re near south Florida. Yes, you come to the beach for sun and sand, but there’s more out there to see. So much more. Will we be back? I sure hope so!  #IPCsundayPolo
