Get Framed for the All-Star Game

There are a lot of things happening in Cincinnati during the next few weeks. The All-Star Game is almost here, and the city is getting prettier by the day.

Even if you don’t have ticket to the annual Midsummer Classic, you can still make awesome memories. I know one big way to do it.

Frame yourself.

For the last year, I’ve been a part of the Community Organizing Committee, a dedicated group of volunteers working to make sure the 85th annual All-Star Game stands out, showing the best of the region. It’s also committee focusing on bringing a little bit of the game to everyone.

A few months ago, my subcommittee on the COC enlisted the help of Framester for a bold new vision. We wanted to create selfie stations that showed off some of the major landmarks in the city, and provided people with free memories and photos taken in a way that only Cincinnati residents know how.

Six stations and countless hours of work later, these photo locations are ready for you. All you have to do is show up, bring a camera, smile, and click. You’ll have a memory to last a lifetime.

You can find the stations in six locations around Cincinnati: Union Terminal, Fountain Square, Smale Park, Roebling Bridge, Newport on the Levee, and Washington Park. Each one is a little different, but each captures the flair of the Queen City during this special time.

Wednesday morning, a few of the city’s VIPs, the media, some passerby, and the Reds mascots launched these stations out to the community with a special breakfast event at the Smale Park location. Free coffee, doughnuts, and bobble heads rounded out the party. Photographer extraordinaire Amy Elisabeth took some fantastic shots of us enjoying the frames.

We had fun. Who says “hump day” has to be bad? I’m happy to say we all walked away with huge smiles on our faces. That’s what it was all about, folks.

The photo stations are free. They are unique. They won’t be here long. So what are you waiting for?

Get framed!
